DESCRIPTION:Fall Softball Prospect Camp 2023 at Catholic University \nPresented and operated by Sophie Mac Softball Camps\, LLC \nWHO:  Softball Players in Grade 9 – 12 (High School Students) \nLOCATION: The Catholic University Softball Field at the Raymond A Dufour Athletic Center \n(4400 John McCormack Rd\, NE\, Washington\, DC 20011) \nDATE AND TIME:  Saturday\, October 28\, 2023\, 10:00am – 4:00pm \n*In the case of rain\, we will move the camp indoors. Please bring sneakers in case of a weather event* \nCOST:  $300 \nREGISTER\nCAMP DIRECTOR: Sophie Maccarone\, Head Softball Coach (Sophie Mac Softball Camps\, LLC.) \nCAMP STAFF: Assistant Catholic University Coaches and Current Players \nPROSPECT CAMP: Participants will be evaluated in areas including arm strength\, hitting\, pitching\, catching\, throwing and fielding ability during drill sessions. Participants will also be able to show their “game” within a scrimmage at the end of the day.  We will also do an athletics center tour for all participants. \nPERSONAL EQUIPMENT:  All players should clearly mark their personal equipment in advance of attending the camp and must provide their own softball glove\, bat\, helmet\, gym shoes\, cleats\, and should wear any protective gear they deem necessary. Catchers must bring their own equipment. \n** Players should bring snacks or lunch and a lot of water! We will have a break for 30-45 mins around 12:30 pm to refuel\, do field maintenance\, and get ready for our scrimmage! ** \nPlease Note:  CLEATS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE ATHLETICS CENTER DURING THE TOUR.
