WHO: Softball Players in Grade 8 – 12
LOCATION: The Catholic University Softball Field at the Raymond A Dufour Athletic Center
(4400 John McCormack Rd, NE, Washington, DC 20011)
DATE AND TIME: Saturday, January 20, 2024 (Indoors in our Gym and potentially on the outdoor turf. Bring sneakers and turfs if you have them)
COST: $150
CAMP DIRECTOR: Sophie Maccarone, Head Softball Coach (Sophie Mac Softball Camps, LLC.)
CAMP STAFF: Assistant Catholic University Coaches and Current Players
PROSPECT CAMP: Participants will be evaluated in areas including arm strength, hitting, pitching, catching, throwing and fielding ability during drill sessions. Participants will participate in situational games.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: All players should clearly mark their personal equipment in advance of attending the camp and must provide their own softball glove, bat, helmet, gym shoes, turfs, and should wear any protective gear they deem necessary. Catchers must bring their own equipment.
All proceeds from the camp will go to the growth of the Catholic University Softball Program
